here is the recipe I used:

    4 tbsp of bacon fat
    4 tbsp of butter
    1 med onion chopped
    2 stalks of celery chopped
3 stalks of green onion chopped
1 pint of oyster with juice
1 pint of heavy whipping cream
    1 pint of whole milk
salt, pepper, garlic powder, and crushed red peppers to taste
    ground parsley for garnish

    melt fat and butter
add onions and celery until translucent
add oysters only until oysters start to curl around the edges
add milk, cream, oyster juice, green onions and spices

heat through until oysters begin to float DO NOT BOIL

serve hot with crackers or french bread

I''m sure there are fancy recipes out there,
but the way my mom, dad, FIL did was
take the oysters from the container (BTW, we
don't like pacific oysters:sick), pour in a pot
with melted butter, add salt and pepper, throw
in some milk and heat slowly til the oysters begin
    to float!
    Hope it helps
