    What's DE?

    Diatomaceous earth. It's ground up fossils that have microscopic sharp edges that make an inhospitable environment for flies, worms and other bugs. You can probably find it in most feed stores.

    You want the food grade stuff. There is another kind that is used for something else, not good for your birds.
