Paid $76 to Vet( To wait or take them in?) That is the Qt.

I have a pullet I just spent $76 to take her and one other from my flock to the vet. The vet hospital said they can treat pullets. Ya "k" he really didn't know as much as I thought. They sent the pooh out to be tested for parasites and no parasites. I could have taken the pooh to our Aggie Univ and only paid $5.70 per test. I just wasn't sure and I didn't want to just let them die in case I missed something. These pullets are totally Organic. He knew nothing about Organic pullets(chick). Chicky is getting her strength and doing better, I could have waited it out . I just didn't know if she was ok. She needed more food the bullies in the flock were keeping her from really getting food. The pullet now has an eye that was hurt . I am not sure how she was hurt, she was in her crate just till she got her strength back. Vet said put saline drops in 3 x day. She keeps it closed and it looks like she will not see out of it. Poor thing!! New to this board, what do you think???
