For sale are (2) five month old Barred Rocks. One hen and one roo. Their names are "B' (hen) and "Spice" (roo). "B" should start laying the large brown eggs around the end of next month. Selling these 2 is very heartbreaking, but it was a hard decision to make. Out of 26 eggs, only 3 hatched in May. "B" was the first one born, then "Spice". The last one was a WC black Polish bantam hen "Poofie". So, they are dear to our hearts.
I want only the most loving home where they won't be eaten, just the eggs and bred.
I am asking $20.00 for the pair. Shipping is negotiable.
I will be getting a picture of them together / "B" asap. She is always behind "Spice", but some cheese (their most favorite treat) will do the trick!
