Hi i keep a loft of pakistani (rampuri, teddi, zeera eg.) and english breeds of tippler, and we have one- three annual competitions a year where we fly 8 birds at 6 in the morning. each amount of hours done by each bird is added to give a total amount. . i regularly fly a few here and there, and in the daytime(weekends for eg.) they sometimes fly long and high but on the competition @6.00am they dont fly longer than a couple hours? is there any certain breeds or things to do foods to feed them or absolutely anything to do so that on competiton day they will fly longer and higher? > any advice would be really, really appreciated,

    many thanks Zayn

Have you tried flying at the competition time so that the birds are accustomed to early AM flying?
