pale comb and face

Hi, I was looking at my Buff Orp today and her comb and the skin around her eyes is pale. She is currently moulting, could this be why or should I consider that there is another issue? By contrast, my Barred Rock's is red.

That is exactly the reason for it. Molting birds generally stop laying and in the absence of laying their faces and combs get quite pale. It's hormonal. Not a thing to worry about except getting her to re-grow some feathers ASAP. Try upping her protein intake to aid in that.
