I have a 7 month old Light Brahma Rooster. He has recently had an extremely pale face and comb compared to my hens. I have read up on mites/lice. I have dusted him and he doesn't seem to be doing any better. He keeps his head really close to his body but still eats and makes noises. Any help on getting him better would be much appreciated.

Agree with CTken, also it would be great if you posted a photo on the E/R thread showing how he keeps his head tucked, that may indicate certain problems. I hope he will recover.

G’Day from down under Cort [IMG] Welcome!

I hope the folks on the ER Forum were able to assist and your little guy is OK.

I also hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out [IMG]

Sorry to hear your rooster is causing some concern. I hope the ER members can help you figure out what's going on with him.

    Best of luck!
