Bettye is a Pilgrim goose almost 8 months old. She was growing great, but in May started scratching and loosing neck feathers and gasping for air. Treated for mites and dewormed. Her neck feathers grew back, but then she hurt her leg. After a week, she was walking fine again.

Now she's pale. Pale dry bill and pale feet. She sleeps a lot. Always sleeping with her head tucked. She was getting high quality 18% chick feed with nutritional yeast, corn, oats and wheat treats.

Where she is always sleeping and tucking her head, her feathers aren't well oiled there and she's very underweight.

The other 7 are vibrant and in good health.

Any ideas? Thank you.

Yes, she's thin. She eats well, but bit gaining any weight and looking more pale.

Sounds like coccidiosis. Its an intestinal parasite that steals nutrients and blood from the bird. So the bird can eat and eat but gains no weight and can be come pale. It takes a specific treatment to kill them, normal wormers will not kill them. Put her on a round of Corid asap. Treat for 10 days then wait 10 days and treat again. Even if that's not the problem the treatment won't hurt her and will rule out coccidiosis if she doesn't improve.
