I have 8 hens - three are 14 months old and five are 7 months old. I've been getting 6-8 eggs a day for the last about month since the younger ones started laying, but suddenly the last four days or so egg production has dropped to one or two a day, and only from the older birds. I've also noticed that some of their legs are looking a lot paler than they used to - my Leghorn and RIR used to have bright orange legs and now they're almost white, and my Easter Egger's once slate-blue legs are more ashy grey. The others' legs all appear to be their normal colors.

They're on the same feed they've been on for months, they have plenty of clean water, they get the same kinds of kitchen scraps and yard-greens (weeds, grass clippings, etc) that they've gotten forever. Everybody is acting normally. Blooming season has begun and it's gotten warmer and more humid, but not drastically. Could this be environmental, or are my chickens all suddenly sick with some mystery illness?
