I finished the pallet coop/shelter this morning. It's purpose is to provide shelter from wind and wet. 100% made from pallets, 100% free, and the flock seems pretty excited about it :) Next boxes and a bright coat of paint in the works as soon as the weather drys out. I'm thinking bright turquoise, what do you think?

The bottom of my coop is pallets with osb and then a truck topper on top with walls, all the wood was given to us and so was the topper! My chickens would have already destroyed all the nick nacks in the run!

Lol these guys are bantams and the sweetest gentlest group I've ever owned :) But they don't even care about the nick nacks either :p

Thats good! I have full sized raptors in my coop and run and when i let them free range..the gardens and the flowers beds...gone I have a hole in the yard over ankle deep and perfectly chicken sized! who knew!?
