I just happened to be on that page this morning after reading another thread where someone suggested pallets to someone who wanted cheap wood. Many people say the bromide dissipates shortly after treatment, but others say it lingers. I get a good number of pallets each year through my home business. I choose to err on the safe side myself and only use/keep pallets that are heat treated.
