Here's an update!
One of Pancakes eggs has started to pip externally. Yay! I can also hear the chick chirping inside, yay! Egg 2/3 is chirping but I don't see any pips outside yet. Egg 3/3 I heard movement but no pips yet.
I've read where it can take 12-18 hours for the chick to emerge, and not to help the chick unless absolutely necessary. At what point would a chick need assistance?
Pancake is a first time mama and this is her first time being broody. She's done an awesome job.
I'm a first time chicken grandma (lol) I'm so excited. My kids are so excited too as the one just had his birthday and the others is tomorrow!!
