Parakeet Eggs!!!

    Ive done chickens, quail, turkey and ducks but this is my first time with budgie eggs! My hen laid her first egg today and I anticipate letting her hatch them out opposed to incubating in the bator. Ive been on a hiatus so this is super exciting!!!

    Congratulations! It is funny, but used to breed parakeets and lovebirds, and then switched to chickens. You are doing the opposite. It is hard to tell from the picture, but it is that egg in a nest box?

    Yes it is, I didnt want to disturb them too much so I just grabbed a quick photo, only one so far but she just started laying today
