So I ordered five chicks in the mail from MickMery Hatchery (All pullets) and I think I got a rooster.
All my chicks from this batch are strangely undersized; the are healthy and eating normally, they are just a little small.
He is seven weeks old.
Why I think it's a Rooster:
He is VERY flighty and runs. (Sept when the food comes down, then he is the first there and will push anyone else away)
He has a raspy chirp compared to my other PC from that shipment. It cracks at the end like a teenage boy.
He had red wattles and a bigger comb then everyone else at a much earlier age.
It/he/she Always jumps at and pecks the heads of my fully grown hens. (They pretty much ignore him)
He is about 1/3 bigger than my other PC whom is the same age.
