Hi y’all. 👋🏼 Just received my first shipment of baby chicks via mail! They all arrived safe and sound and adorable!! Anybody familiar with Partridge Olive Eggers? If so would love to see pics. I ordered Olive eggers, BCM’s, Super Blue Eggers and Partridge Olive Eggers. Soooo excited to watch them grow! Thanks for any input!

The bottom two are the darker one (sort of looks like my EE babies) and the top two of the lighter one, no stripes on back!

Cuties! They look a lot like Cream Legbars.:)
Where did you get them and do you know what breeds were used to create them?
Congratulations on your new babies!
I purchased them from My Pet Chicken hatchery. They aren’t very forth coming about this breed. (Keep it a secret I think lol) just says FI cross lays dark olive egg, I also purchased some Olive eggers and it says they keep it a secret but can say they are FI, F2 and use legbars, Marans, Welsummers, and ameraucanas. Super excited to see how they grow! And the eggs!🤗🤗

So for them to be partridge, I am guessing they are welsommer/legbar crosses.
I have an ameraucana/BCM cross and they look very different. You probably know that F1 will lay a lighter olive usually and that F2 will usually lay a darker olive, though greater chance of getting a brown egg layer. Mine is an F1 and lays a matcha green colored egg. So much fun to see how these little ones develop! Congratulations again! Would be fun to see how they feather out!:love

I did not know this! I wondered what FI, F2 meant. So the Olive eggers will most likely be darker green then the partridge F1’s? Hopefully They do lay some sort of shade of green! We shall see. They’re just little cutie puff balls right now!! I adore them. Here are some pics of the Olive eggers! Sweet pea, Olive, and Mitzy!

Please share pics of your ameraucana BCM mix. Do they look anything like the Olive eggers babies I showed below?

I just have the one. Bought her as an adult. I imagine she looked like your baby in the last photo with the feathered legs. She has feathered legs from her BCM parent and muffs and beard from her ameraucana parent. She was just growing her feathers back after molting so part of her tail is still missing in the photo.😊

She’s beautiful! I hope mine turns out like her. All three of my Olive eggers look differently. So exciting!!
