    hello,
I very new to raising chickens, but read and learn a lot.
Those were bought as speckled sussex, but from the start I a feeling they might be other breed.
would love to know what you think.
I have them for two month, the bigger one is about 3 - 3.5 months and I belive is a roo first pic.
the two smaller ones are about 2.5 months

    thanks

Bird #1 is a Production Red (possibly Red Broiler - he looks very large??) cockerel, and birds #2 and #3 are Partridge Rocks, one cockerel and one pullet.

    Thank you,
the bigger one is big, but not as big as the plymouth rock I have as well, which are about the same age. The breeder I bought from doesn't have production red as much as I know, but I'll ask him what might have append.
I'm happy about the partridge rocks... But I have no sussex

I have a speckled and definitely does not look like that! So I would say not a speckled Sussex :)

Yep, that's your typical Production Red (aka RIR).

The coloring is right but her lacing is very muddled. I'd say she's either very hatchery quality or possibly a mixed breed.
