Partridge Silkie Gender? White silkie, too.

I have a “huge” flock of two 8 week old Silkie chickens. I’m hoping they are both pullets, but I know it’s a crap shoot and I know Silkies are very difficult to tell the gender. I’ve heard that you can tell a partridge silkie’s gender earlier than you can on any other color. That being said, here’s a picture of my chickens today. Can anyone tell me what gender you think these two are? What am I looking for in the partridge silkie in order to tell the difference? So far, I see no wattles, combs or streamers, but I know that it can still go either way. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

First of all, those birds are some of the cutest things i have ever seen! SO pretty! :love:love
As of the gender, from here, it looks as if they are both pullets:yesss:, although you might want to post some closer up pics of there combs. But man, what a cute duo!:thumbsup What I've noticed on silkies before, is if they're male their feather shape on their head is different, and kinda goes back more.

Here's a website on sexing silkies:

Heres a pic of a male at 8 weeks old:

Hope this helps!:thumbsup

It helps if i actually reply, right? The flock was highly indignant at your request, but I have pictures! I’m seriously leaning toward pullets, but these are my first chickens, so I’m unsure.

Pull back their crests and take pics of their combs.

I got the partridge. The white is more blurry, but I think the comb is even smaller than the partridge’s. Please let me know if I need any more pictures.

If there was a cute contest, those would be contenders!! What do they look like now?
