Partridge Silkie or Cochin???

    Does this look like a Partridge Silkie? It has 6 toes, black skin, a black beack and is 4 days old.

    No, I don't think it is a partridge. I don't think its a silke. The feathers on silkies are more scraggly and less defined. Pretty chick, though.

    black skin, 5 toes, crest, feathered legs, black/slate legs, and possibly a beard or no beard then yes silkie (as long as you have silkie feathers)...pics arent the best and hard to really tell with that lighting as well. if you can get some pics in better lighting it might help [​IMG] but over all from those pics looks like a silkie mix

    Yes. A friend looked at it today and wasn't sure if it was a "mix" or not.
