What would be a good pasture composition for raising chickens?

Clover,white
Alfalfa
Birdsfoot
Chicory
Rye/oat grasses

I heard by word of mouth of soy bean plants that have more greens than bean for foraging, is their and would that make a good mid season food plot when grasses are slow to grow. then maybe move other lice stock on it as rotational grassing???

Thanx

I am very interested too! I am in the process of cutting a pasture out of the forest.

20% Bison Intermediate Ryegrass, 15% Tetraploid Perennial Rye, 10% Tetraploid Annual Rye, 10% Japanese Millet, 10% Buckwheat, 10% Flax, 10% Red Clover, 5% Strawberry Clover, 5% Alfalfa, 3% Ladino Clover, 2% Birdsfoot Trefoil.

(Basically clover, rye grass and bird seed.)
