Pasture raised chicken

Ok, I am renovating a hay wagon for a mobile pasture raised chicken set up. I'm looking at breeds and I need some input. Cornish cross are out. Suggestions?

I am in a similar situation. I have been ghosting several threads of various meat birds. The ones that were recommended to me were: Jersey Giants and Red Ranger (neither threads are active) another thread is the regular Cornish thread, it is fairly active.

since you mention the Cornish cross, I'm guessing you're talking about raising meat birds and not layers, correct? If so, you should cruise the Meat Bird section. There have been numerous threads about the pros and cons of different breeds and breeding projects there.
