Almost 12 hours since I cleaned the initial blockage. I have cleaned her a few more times today and it still looks like she may have a little blockage.
I went down for a final cleaning before bed and there was nothing to really clean off so I just added a little veggie oil. She was actually standing up when I walked in the room and when I reached in she kind of ran away. I gave her a drop of water on her beak, but she shook it away. I dipped her beak in water, but she would not drink. My husband said he saw her eat a little food this afternoon.
After all this care and attention I am getting more attached. I will check again in the morning!
