I paid for Svart Hona Eggs Friday evening and they made it to Wisconsin today wonderfully packaged, tomorrow they will go under a broody silkie, All questions and emails quickly answered

Thought I would update due to timing and having a broodie hen we had agreed on 7 Svart Hona eggs, week in the hen pushed two out of the nest, I found them cold but candled and saw development so I put them back under. Well sofar 5 have hatched and one more is working on it.

Hen (silkie) is inexperienced and like I said had pushed 2 eggs out for an undetermined amount of time, so all things considered I am VERY happy.

When I saw the 5 I figured that was it then I saw one of the eggs I marked as having been pushed out working on hatching. I had almost discarded the two cold eggs that day and now at least one is trying to hatch. Obviously great fertility and packaging given the journey from FL to WI.
