Pea Chicks illness one dead

Hello, I've hatched 2 chicks so far and they appeared very healthy and strong for 2weeks then the oldest developed the drooping wings and lack of energy and watery poop without any blood. Appeared to stop eating and drinking. I looked here to see if it was what i thought it was, and after looking at the poop pictures it appeared to be Cocci and so i pulled out the Safeguard and started both on 2x daily dosing. i don't think i caught the first one in time as it died yesterday. But this morning the 2nd one appears to be a little better. As far as the poop goes, the watery poop was a good indication of an issue, but it looked like blood in the poop was also an indicator of Cocci?
After dosing the Safeguard the poop turned mostly white like the Safeguard going in. Normal?

Safeguard is a de-wormer not for cocci.

Agreed, if you can get medicated feed or liquid Corid those would be the ideal ways to combat cocci.

ok thanks, i added CORID to his water that it is drinking this morning and with just the Safeguard it's moving and squeaking a lot more today.
