Peach pheasants had a surprise for me!! PIC

    Went in the pen today to throw around some fresh lettuce just picked from the garden and found this in the shelter coop.....

    Going to keep an eye on it and see if she keeps laying and begins to sit. Only had this pair for a 2-3 weeks.

    So what does a peach pheasant look like? Cant say Ive seen any of them yet. Congards on the eggs.

    Hey Ed it is a pair of pure Peach golden pheasants. I need to get the good camera and get some pics. These birds are beautiful birds. I have seen a lot of peach golden males that have a lot of gold/yellow in them...but this boy is almost all white with traces of bright peach through his breast...back and wings.....and light golden crest.
    Great looking male.
