Hello, I am hoping to end up with a pair of black shoulder peafowl.
First two pics should be pure BS. Pretty sure female.
2nd 2 pics. "Look" like BS male. Came from a pen of alot of different genetics, BS, Spalding, even a white hen of unknown background....
Thoughts???

Oh and just for fun...
This guy, looks like IB pied one white primary. But looking a little scales and more greenish than the IB's I have similar age.
Hatched same pen as the 2nd bird above... Poss some Java?
Both super friendly.

That darker black shoulder is getting some greenish neck feathers... The other is not. Wondering if that is the Spalding genes? Im dizzy with reading, but Java and Spalding hens do get some green?

On the third picture there is a blue peahen black shoulder with a very low percentage of green blood ... very low!
Proof : the effect 'red buff' and the kind of points on the chest.
Spalding peahen are never blue but green!

Cool! Can not wait...3 years from now, LOL, see what pops of of some eggs! Good for Low percentage Im in PA and it is oh so cold! Peas in the GARAGE, ugh. I just couldn't risk it, yet.
