peahen lay without male?

    Hi,

    My neighbor has a peahen, and just wanted to know come spring could the peahen lay eggs without a male,like how chickens do?

    Yes, they just won't hatch if she sets them.

    I didn't know they could lay without males present. Would it be possible you think for a male pheasant to mate with a female peahen?, since pheasants are in the peafowl family.
