Peahen saved baby chicken this morning!

    This morning my DD came running into the house after opening the chicken coop. A hawk snatched up one of our newly hatched baby chicks! Our peahen then apparently flew at the hawk, attacked it and it let the baby go! I could not believe it! You go girl! I am proud as a peacock! Haha!
