Peahens parted company

Hi, we have 2 peahens and multiple peacocks. They are all free ranging over 200 acres. 1 of the peahens spends most of her day in our garden or chicken run just chilling and eating. Is this a sign that she wants to nest near us, how can we encourage her to nest, like make her a nest maybe .

If she will that would be great. We love for our free-ranging hens to set close to the yard as there is less chance of predation if they are nearby. She will be very cagy and elusive going to her nesting site.

Any idea whether they lay evening or anytime we can follow her maybe

She will lay at sunset about every other day. When she begins to brood the eggs she will come off the eggs mid morning to eat. That is when you follow her to the nest site.
