peanutbutter pie

I'll give you mine one one condition....... when you make it you have to call it the flying monkey poop special!

this recipe makes 1 X 10 inch pie. I use a store bought gramcracker crust (its my mothers receipe)

Filling
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
8 oz whip cream
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 tablespoons melted butter

blend the cream cheese and sugar together then add in the peanut butter, butter, vanilla and keep mixing. Add about 1/3 of the whip cream and blend togother untill its smooth. fold in the remaining whip cream then pour into the pie crust.

Topping
4 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons canola oil

melt all of the topping ingredients togother and let cool to touch then spread over the pie. I like to keep it in the freezer until ready to eat. warm up the knife you use for cutting by running under warm water.

this comes out really rich, have milk on hand to combat sugar shock.

for a twist you can also try the pre made crust thats made out of oreo cookie crumbs.
