We have 1 week old chicks that are together in the brooder. Everyone has enough room, feed, heat, and water. Today 3-4 hens were pecking at another who was lying there all wet and missing feathers. I checked made sure she was okay and removed the ones that started it. I'm worried leaving them alone now because she was just lying there letting them peck her. Should I be worried? Do I keep them separated? I'm new to this and would appreciate any advice! Thank you
They will be fine keep an eye on her though she may be sick the reason they usually start pecking on another chick in the group is because they see something different in her.
