My babies are 4 and a half weeks old, and I'm seeing the pecking order start... of course it looks like my buff silkie bantam is going to be the lowest. [IMG]

I do have one that seems to challenge ALL of them. And I'm so worried she is a rooster. My husband (and probably neighbors) won't have a rooster. My chicks were supposed to be sexed but well you know..... does anyone have any ideas? Also this one seemed to make singing sounds not peeping like all the others~

"Pushy" doesn't necessarily equal rooster. My bossiest chick is definitely a hen. She's also the one that won't leave my lap until every last treat is gone. I put her down, she jumps right back up. Looks like a pullet to me too.

It's very young but there is definitely color on its comb... I'm hoping its a hen, but it could be a roo
