i have two Silver Lace Wyandotte hens maybe 10 months old. One of the hens is definitely the dominant chicken and picking on the other. Can I stop this behavior? Thanks

I never knew these existed either. Guess I learned something new today!
I'm not sure of all the places that sell them, but I did find a bunch of them on Amazon!

I was just on Amazon too. And of course it is not possible to buy just one or two and they require a special tool. Of well, what we will do for the critters we love.

Pecking is a normal form of communication for chickens, it can be a fine line between normal and something that needs extreme measures to curb.

You have only the two birds?
Pics of their housing may offer some clues.
As well as knowing exactly what all and how are you feeding?

Describe the 'picking' in detail.
Is there blood being drawn?
Is the dominant bird pinning down the other bird and beating it unmercilessly?
Is the dominant bird keeping the other from eating/drinking/roosting?

Pinless peepers are a last resort, IMO.
