Pekin Duck stopped Laying??

My 2 year old Pekin Duck was an amazing p layer the first year! At least an egg a day, plus two clutches of 6-8 eggs. She hasn’t laid in 9 months… She had proper feed, run, pond, well cared for etc, She has a male partner, they stick together like glue, could he be the problem?

Hello and
Unless he is over mating her and causing her stress I doubt he is the problem.
Ducks are kind of seasonal layers, but 9 months is a pretty long time.
First are you sure she isn't hiding them? They are really good at burying and hiding eggs.
Mine also take breaks egg laying while molting.

Is there any chance a predator is taking the eggs?
