So I just got my order in of Pekin Duck eggs and one is WAY bigger than the rest. Any idea of what it is or if it is even a Pekin egg?

I contacted the seller and sent the pics as well. Hoping I may have just got someone elses order by mistake but I figure I would ask the experts of their opinion about the egg

I have 5 normal size eggs but I unpacked this bad boy.

I was hoping for just a double yolk. I was thinking I got some kind of goose egg in the order. I am going to be incubating them and I will put this on in too. I am just going to have to rig up the turner so it will not fall out. lol

The good thing is she did pack them great and I got no cracks or broken. This is my first time buying shipped eggs.

I understand that larger eggs along with the smaller eggs don't hatch well. But I was not expecting that egg that is for sure.

Ok seller got back to me about the egg.

Its a dewlap african goose egg. She was unable to fill the whole order of 6 eggs and felt bad about it so she added in a a goose

Now I gotta figure out how to incubate that bad boy.
