I've been poking at the idea of raising Pekins for the Asian Market and have started pricing Pekins and figuring overhead. I've been able to find some for 2.25 at Townline, but they don't list feed efficiency. I've also looked over Metzer's different Pekin varieties. Metzer's Grimaud Pekin Hybrid literally has feed conversion listed. They are also much more expensive -two bucks more per bird. Though, I know Metzer ships quality birds. So, how much do you think feed efficiency is going to vary from hatchery to hatchery?
