One of my female pekins (about 1 1/2 years old) stopped eating yesterday and appears to just be standing. She won’t lay down and is not as vocal as she normally is. (Typically my loudest duck). She is still drinking water, but will not eat. I brought her out of the coop this morning and she is walking fine when coaxed, otherwise just stands. She closes her eyes when she is standing, but won’t lay down at all. When I massaged her crop and belly she became a little vocal.

She walked back to the coop and when she went in she pooped (first I have seen her since yesterday, but that was hard to say since she was with all the other birds and she didn’t go any of the times I was out there monitoring her). Curious what I should be checking/doing for her? Or if these pictures show anything out of the ordinary…

Hmm any other symptoms? Is her crop emptying? I’m no expert but did you feel the lump looking thing beftween her legs or is it just feathers?

It seems to be just feathers. I can squish it and there is nothing hard underneath all the fluff. I haven’t noticed any other symptoms. I pretty sure her crop is emptying. It didn’t look or feel full.

It’s hard to say with so many birds in the same area. They don’t all lay everyday, so it’s been hard to keep track. I have tried to see if she is egg bound, but she is so fluffy it’s hard to tell.
Are you seeing tail bobbing? I would consider separating her--maybe in a large crate where she can stay with the flock but you can monitor her laying, eating, drinking, pooping, etc. If you see no improvement, I'd get her to a vet.
