Pekin Sexing

    They’re 5 weeks old. I’ve got until they’re 7 weeks to sex them.

    I’m thinking pullet and cockerel but I also think they’re a little too young. Maybe I should wait another week?

    They both look pullet.. for now. I've never sexed pekins and you should probably wait till week 6, where it will show more.

    I’ll consider myself lucky if they are! Thank you. I’ve had Pekins before and usually they have larger combs by now.

    In the US we have large breed Cochins "aka Pekins" and bantams.

    Here they are recognised as their own breed and they only come as bantams. Cochins are are different breed.
