Can yall please help me identify this bug? I found it on one of my hens. It is extremely tiny and there were lots of them?

Not sure what they are. I would spray with permethrin if they are on your birds.

Except gnats are TINY and round. I was thinking more of a flea-type pest

Fungus gnats are more of the shape the OP's picture. It was just a guess.
