Since I get several emails from people with Cornish X chickens they have rescued or 'accidentally' gotten, I created a Yahoo Group so we could all lend our knowledge to others that might not be 'into' chickens but still want to help 'that chicken on the road'.

So if you have pet Cornish X chickens, please come and join us [IMG]

Thought I'd share my flyer I made for the group, starring Bob!

I used to have a cornish X. He was the best chicken I ever had, he thought he was a dog. He was very large(15 pounds) but his name was Tiny.

I had him for 2 years and he was 8 months when I got him.
He was attacked by a neighbors dog and went into shock and died before we were able to reach the vet's office.
    He was my baby.

Oh I am so sorry to hear that, he looked like a big marshmallow. I am sure he would have been alot like my Bob (r.i.p.).

    Thanks.
He was such a sweet boy. He followed me all around the yard, he knew to come when I called his name.
I dont think he knew he was a rooster, he never crowed, lol.

I had his 3 brothers at first, but it got to be too much to have 4 huge roosters at once, so I gave them away and kept him since he was the sweetest of them all.
