Petri, the color changing silkie

    It's just like the title says...
    Petri is my blonde(?) silkie. He has always had some gray tail feathers and gray wing tips but now his wings are turning white. Is this normal? I don't a pic uploaded on this computer but I can upload it when I get home if I need to.
    But I'm sure you can form the pic in you head [​IMG] He's kinda funny looking.
    Did I post in the right section?

    I believe it's not uncommon for colors to change with successive molts.

    Here's my dear little Petri, who I THINK is a boy.....
    You can notice his wing feathers where they're turning white. It doesn't really show here but most of his tail feathers are that same gray shade that you can see on the tips of his wings.
    He's a pretty funky chicken and I love it [​IMG]
