pheasant chicks eyes stuck shut

I hatched my first pheasant eggs yesterday, and noticed a little while ago that one of the chicks eyes are stuck shut. will they open on there own, and if they don't should i try anything to help???

I have never had this happen...I raise pheasants but if you PM Lophura he is a pheasant expert he may help you...I think Ticks raises them too or TonyK...Sorry I couldn't help you but maybe one of them can!

Use moist warm water to get them open. You don't want them sealed shut for too long..could lead to blindness. How old is the pheasant chick? newly hatched or older?
