Pheasant Eggs

    I found 2 pheasant eggs today! I was surprised because I didn't think it was the right time of the year for them to lay! Do you think they are fertile? I do have a rooster pheasant.

    They are so very pretty! Like a pink with a white splash.

    Just wanted to share!

    What kind of pheasants do you have?Ringnecks are an olive green in color.Silvers are pinkish with white specks.

    Thats odd. I have been noticing that my silver cocks have been displaying and doing lots of flirting with the hens, I wonder if they will lay soon.

    My swinhoe and mikado hens made nests,but I hope they don't lay right now.

    I have silver pheasants. It must be the Florida. Mine came from up north. They must think its springtime.
