Im looking at the area i want to build my 25 x 40 pheasant flight pen. The issue im going back and forth on is this area has 4 HUGE pine trees that would be in the middle. I was thinking of maybe building around the trees and just when i put the netting on the top nail it to the trees to support it from sagging. This would like i said help keep the netting from sagging and give plenty of shelter and shade. Cons the wind blowing may shift the netting but i could leave slack for movement. And branches coming down on the coop. But they are tall and straight. whatcha think...cut em or leave em and incorporate them into the pen??[IMG]

I'd incorporate them just so they are healthy trees [IMG]

Quote:Certainly find a way to incorporate them, great natural cover and will benefit the birds. Use some type of flexible rubber hosing to prevent the mesh or netting from growing into the bark.
