another interesting type of pheasant bird the green naped pheasant bird do someone keep them?
I don't think they are true pheasants, but just another type of ground dwelling pigeon like the the blue crowned pigeon. Although not a really pheasant I think they have a very similar body shape like the brown eared pheasant. Not many people raise them, they also are quite pricey and require more advance caring than your normal pigeon. Can't be kept in a loft but an aviary similar to a pheasant. I have only seen a pair at a zoo in San Diego, California. None the less very pretty bird up close.
