pheasants for meat

    just want to know if any one has raised them for meat and how many should you do at once and how long do they take to get to butcher. thanks

    all my extra males i raise go in the freezer. we butcher ours between 6 months and 8 months. seems to be a good weight by then and good tasting meat.

    I have never raised any but I have killed them in the wild and cooked them up, some mighty good eating...
