Pheasants Temp outside.. will the by ok in 28 degree temps..

Were expecting a freeze at about 28 or 25 degrees... will the pheasants be ok outside in there little house... They have a heat lamp of 120 watts in there little house..

HEre is what I have..

Chinese Ring Necks
Red Golden
Lady Amherst..

Please Advise.
 
All three of your pheasant species are winter hardy as adults or at least full feathered. The temps shouldn't be a problem . Now, if they are very young, I'd keep them under the brooder lamp.

Yes they will be fine...mine have been out in way colder and are doing just fine.

No need for a heat lamp.Just keep the drafts off from them.Poly the sides and cover the top.How cold does it get there in Tx?

I have about 300 out side in flight pens and we have been below 30 in the day and down to 5 at night. and have not lost any of them.
