What do you think? Could I possibly make money at this?

A wise photo teacher once said "You are only as good as your worse photo, so throw the bad ones out"

Look through your images and see which are exposed properly and with ones are not, toss the bad ones (or at least do not share them)

See which are in focus (the subject) and which are not (same as above)

And then spend some time thinking about what the subject is in each photo and make sure they are cropped to match. Remember dead center is rarely the goal. And last if you really want to sell to a stock agency, read about their requirements for file sizes and photo releases. If you want to work shooting things like weddings, see if you can find a mentor who is willing to allow you to work (for free) for them. Real camera gear is not cheap check out bhphotovideo.com and check out the d-slrs.

I am not saying your photos are not good, just saying make sure you are showing your best.

Quality wise, they would all hit the recycle bin.

[IMG] You have a great camera and everything looks so neat, but with a better camera than the one you have right know you'll do great [IMG] like the focusing on the subject, then everything else blurs out [IMG]

    Pictures are fantastic!!

It is a really competitive occupation. I am not sure how you would go about submitting photos for free lance. If you set up a little studio in your house, I know you can make modest amount of cash doing portraits, weddings, reunions etc. My daughter has a little studio and while it won't make the house payment she does fairly well supplementing her husband's income. The first couple of years though, she spent all her profit plus on equipment.

I don't want to do people (weddings, portraits, etc.). I want to do animals, landscapes, seascapes, etc. No people. [IMG]

I think if you are serious about doing this you need to upgrade your camera big time.

Also why would you post photos that are chopped off, burry, overexposed or out of focus?

While they are pretty good for the average person and may be of fun things or things you love and are important to you, they are in no way professional pictures. I think I saw maybe 2 out of all that would make the cut.

    Just my 2 cents.
