I introduce...Thelma! Well, this was truly an experience today! She really tried to be a brave chicken! and (I tried being a brave chickie momma).
For future reference [IMG]....please beware when a chicken flaps their wings in water! I'm not sure who had the bath when it was all over! I will probably need to purchase a new hair dryer....I was not aware how long it would take to style her feathers! [IMG]

I was unable to take pictures while in the process of bathing since I was alone and of course didn't have a water-proof camera! (Thelma also thought those kind of pictures would be too graphic for a family website!)

Thelma is so cute! Did she enjoy her bath? Funny that you got an unexpected shower, too. [IMG]

Quote:Yes, I used a blow dryer on her...which she didn't mind it at all! Just takes forever to dry those feathers!

Did Nancy (silkies) dry quick and easy?

Thelma was really glad to get back outside....even though she knew her Roo-Barney would be waiting! Barney loved her new smell and look! [IMG]
