My Rhode island white frome tsc has the longest wattles of mine. They've got to be at least 3 inches long and his comb is probably 4 or 5!
Combs also.I read somewhere that hens are attracted to Cocks with big wattles. IDK
I do notice that the roosters seem more attracted to the hens with prettier feather patterns.Combs also.
But comb, & wattles once taken away don't have an effect on a cocks breeding rights. Really. This is from experience of those who raise American Games.
From that information, wattles, & combs don't matter to a hen.
