Here is Ice relaxing in the sun:

Ice's peachicks have finally gotten names. All of them seem to be peahens so this one is Snow White:

    This peachick's name is Xena:

Then I named this girl and then decided I didn't like the name so I need some ideas on what to name her. She is a dark pied with some white on her upper neck.

Peep wouldn't leave me alone when I was sitting in his pen. He stayed right by me pecking at me and my camera.[IMG]

Today I was raking the larger pen. I raked all the leaves into piles around the plants and the pen looks nicer now. I still need to get the ladder and get some small branches off of the netting.

Oh! Your girls are so beautiful!
    And so is Mr. Peep!

All of the names I've come up with for our peas seem to come from their personalities, so it's hard to suggest names for a bird I haven't met.
But you've named your other girls after fictional heroines, I wonder if you might stay with that theme?
Cinderella? (seems kind of long, though)
    Alice? (of Wonderland fame)
    hmm....nothing's coming to me....

    For some reason, I thought:
    What about Trixie?

Hmm well here is a little background on her:

She is best friends with Xena and one day when one of my older white peachicks walked into the large pen (I left their door open to see if one would come out) and my no name peachick walked up to the white peachick, which was about twice her size, looked at the larger bird, then flapped her wings and kicked at the larger chick a twice and the peachick ran away scared after being attacked by a little chick! It was one of the most amazing things I have seen for a little peachick to take on a peachick twice her size. So I would say she is bold and maybe tough. Trixie is a cute name though...

    Wow!
    She sounds feisty!
Maybe she needs a tougher name than Trixie...

Fiona! As in Princess Fiona from Sheck. That girl could kick some butt!

Oooh I love the name Fiona for her! I think that would really work...I think I am going to write that down so I don't forget it. Thanks!
